The Fabulous Diner en Blanc

This year's exclusive and secretive white dinner had thousands flocking to the Louvre courtyard, only announced as the final location around 8:30pm. After a raining day that threatened the event's feasibility (imagine trying to pull together thousands of white umbrellas at the last minute!) the sun finally peeped, offering invitees a magnificent sunset.

Compared to last year's dinner held in the Place des Vosges, the 2013 event gained in ambition, featuring live music, gourmet chefs on site, and flaming torches released into the evening sky.

VOILA! An evening of joie de vivre à la parisienne.
